WHEN THE COURSE GETS QUIETER, THE CLUBHOUSE HAS TO WORK HARDER
PART 1,
WHEN THE COURSE GETS QUIETER, THE CLUBHOUSE HAS TO WORK HARDER
Winter changes the rhythm of a golf club.
Shorter days. Wet weather. Fewer visitors. Fewer societies. Less time spent hanging around after golf.
So, when the course stops generating the same footfall, what is bringing members into the clubhouse?
Sunday lunch?
Food nights?
Live sport?
Quiz nights?
Simulator events?
Christmas functions?
It doesn’t need to be complicated.
But it does need to be planned.
Waiting until the rain arrives and then asking, “What can we put on?” is already too late.
At Ingentro, we believe winter is the time when the clubhouse needs to become more than somewhere golfers go after 18 holes.
If the course gets quieter, give members another reason to come through the door.
PART 2: Getting people in is one thing. Making sure the numbers work is another.
